OF MICE AND MEN. 1992 Rotten Tomatoes 97%. YouTube, Apple TV. Amazon Prime.
"Of Mice and Men" is John Steinbeck's classic 1937 novella about two migrant farm workers in California during the Great Depression: George Milton and Lennie Small, a giant man with the mental capacity of a child. The story follows their friendship and dream of owning a small farm, but Lennie's inability to control his strength and fascination with soft things leads to a tragic accident, forcing George to make a devastating choice to protect his friend from the cruel world. The story explores themes of loneliness, dreams, and the challenges faced by marginalized individuals.
