About this event

Understanding Grief: An Educational Series

Grief is something we all experience—but that doesn't mean we always understand it.

Join At Home in Alexandria for a three-part educational series designed to help us better understand grief, how it affects us, and how we can support ourselves and others through loss.

Session 1: Why Learn About Grief?
Learn what grief is, how and why it happens, the physical and emotional impact of grief, and common myths about the grieving process. You'll also learn practical ways to cope with grief and support someone who is grieving.
