AHA Member Alan Dinsmore is Appointed to Commission on Aging

Congratulations to Alan Dinsmore for being recently appointed by City Council to a term on the Commission on Aging. The COA advocates for the needs of older residents in Alexandria and advances programs and services that address the needs of older Alexandrians, especially for (but not exclusively) low-income residents.
Alan is an excellent choice to be on the Commission. He is actively involved in our AHA community, serving on the AHA Member Services Committee and volunteering for transportation needs. Alan is known for not only bringing AHA members to medical appointments, but also to social events. Alan is joining a fellow AHA member Ray Biegun, who has served on the Commission for several years now. Join us in congratulating Alan.
