Supreme Court Cases Argued by Presidents

More than half of the 44 individuals who served as U.S. President have been lawyers. A few of them participated in cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, either before or after their presidencies. Learn who they were, what issues were at stake, who they represented, as well as how the Supreme Court itself has evolved. For some, their legal legacies may be greater than their accomplishments as President. Lorna Grenadier, a docent at the National Portrait Gallery and the U.S. Supreme Court, will be guiding us through this unique history. We thank Foggy Bottom West End Village for inviting us to this event. To register, go to https://www.fbwevillage.org/ and select the event's link to register.
