Dr. Helen R Desfosses will moderate this discussion. Helen has a B.A. in Russian Language and Literature from Mount Holyoke College, an M.A. in Soviet Studies from the Harvard Russian Research Center, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Boston University, where she wrote her dissertation on “Soviet-American Relations and Africa.” Over the years, Helen has written and lectured widely on the topic of “Russian Policy and the West.”
