including board members, advisory board members, and friends, which inspired others to give to double their impact. AHA depends on this big fundraising day as member dues pay for only half of our annual operational expenses. The Del Ray Cafe, for the 6th year, hosted our “nerve center” for the day and offered 6% of their sales that day to AHA – we’re so grateful to them for their support. We can assure donors that we will make good use of the funds to further the AHA mission.
